Shipment Status Emails

The emails are automatically triggered based on shipment status updates, you can enable the shipment status emails that you want to proactively send out. To enable the email notifications, on your WordPress admin, Go to TrackShip > Notifications > Emails.

Please Note: the emails are being sent from your WooCommerce store, the same way your other WooCommerce transactional emails.

Available Shipment Status Emails

  • In Transit – The shipment is on the way, the carrier has accepted or picked up and scanned the shipment.
  • Available for Pickup – The shipment is ready to pickup.
  • Out for Delivery – Carrier is about to deliver the shipment
  • On Hold – The shipment is on hold
  • Failed Attempt – Carrier attempted to deliver but failed, and usually leaves a notice and will try to deliver the package again.
  • Return To Sender – Shipment is returned to sender
  • Delivered – The shipment was delivered successfully. you can select to send the delivered status email only when all the shipments for an order are delivered.

Customize the Email Notifications

the Shipping & Delivery email notifications are fully customizable, you can edit the email templates and customize the emails content using a customizer with a live preview.

Email Customizer Options

  • Enable the email notification – check this option to send automatic email notifications to your customers when shipments update to this Shipment Status
  • Preview order – choose an order to preview in the email customizer
  • Recipients – defaults to the customer email. You can add additional comma-separated email addresses.
  • Email subject –  Choose the email subject. Available variables: {site_title}, {order_number
  • Email Content – additional text after the email header. Available variables: {site_title}, {order_number}, {customer_email}, {customer_first_name}, {customer_last_name}, {customer_company_name}, {order_number}, {est_delivery_date}
  • Display shipping items – display the shipment line items
  • Display shipping address – uncheck this option to hide the shipping address
  • Display the Tracking Widget – only available for the Delivered shipment status.
  • Google Analytics link tracking – This will be appended to URL in the email content (e.g. utm_source=trackship&utm_campaign=out_for_delivery)

Admin Late Shipment Email Notifications

You can enable late shipment email and get notifications when shipments are late.

  • Recipient/s – you can add multiple comma-separated email addresses
  • Send email at – Select time to send Late shipment email daily
